Sitting on top of a mountain in the vastness of the Canadian Rockies a thought dawned on me - the grueling hike spanning 12 miles and 4500 feet of elevation truly was worth it. The breathtaking view before me wasn’t just a reward; it was proof that the hard work, the sweat, and the perseverance had all paid off. 

Five years have passed since then, and I have come to realize that nothing truly worthwhile in life comes easily. 

Nor should it! 

In order to get to the next peak, the next level, the next goal or milestone, you have to put in both physical and mental work. This work is what makes the reward SO much sweeter and SO much more worth it! 

The work that you put into your goals shapes you. Much like physically climbing a mountain, it chisels your mind and your body making it more refined day by day with each step you take (both literally and metaphorically).

I didn't know it then, but with this thought, the idea of Grace + Metal was born.
